A mirror fell on my head, what should I do?

I was sitting on the floor and my mirror fell flat on my head. It was on the top left side and was only maybe a foot up, but the mirror is pretty heavy, about 5lbs... I don't have insurance to go to the doctor, but I don't have a headache, my head's just a little sore.. What should I do? I'm just really scared casue you hear about Natasha Richardson and it makes it hard not to think something is qrong

Sounds like there is nothing wrong. As long as you don't have a headache or didn't black out you should be fine. It didn't drop very far and it really isn't too heavy. You will probably only have a sore bump on your head for a little while.

Cell Phone Case, Screen Protector, Reception Booster

I just bought the LG Dare. I want to know whether I should get a Hard Cover or a Silicone Cover. And I also want to know if there is a screen protector cover that acts as a mirror, kind of like the LG Shine. I've seen some sites claiming that they have it, but it looks fake. Also, I want to know if there is any way to boost your cell phone reception, for example that sticker that you put in your phone behind the battery. But does it really work?

I personally like silicone covers since they are a little better at absorbing shocks and bumps from dropping and stuff.

The mirrored screen protectors may look fake but that's because of poor pictures represented on the site. I've purchased mirrored protectors for iphones overseas and all look the same once installed on the phone. Only complaint is that it's hard to view in direct sunlight. It's obvious as to why it would be hard to see, it's a mirror.

The only way to boost your signal is move to a different location that gets you better signal. Do not buy those signal booster stickers. You're better off getting the stickers from those $0.25 bubble gum machines and sticking on the back of your phone! Seriously.

Someone with good sense for design please help with choosing a curtain color!?!?

The colors in my living room are:

couchs- chocolate brown
furniture (entertainment & end tables)- black
wall decor (mirror, painting, & clock)- gold & brown

i dont want to buy just solid brown curtains because there is already alot of brown in the livingroom. i was thinking brown victorian style curtains w/ gold designs but i cant find them anywhere. well actually someone was selling them on ebay but someone bought them before i could. so my question is what is another color besides brown that will look nice and not tacky & out of place?

Burgundy, sage, gold or blue gray will contrast perfectly.
I love the raised texture and luxurious look of these.

I have this 5 ' x 3 ' piece of wood that I want to paint to cover this UGLY mirror on my wall.?

I saw on a home improvement show where they took an ugly mirror and made a fake frame around it by gluing wood trim around the edge. I can't believe the difference it made, you might want to give that a try.

What's a good way to move my room around?

i have a queen size bed, a pretty large room, 2 windows on the North wall and i closet that takes up about half of the wall on the East wall, so I need a way to work around that. My door is on the South wall. I have a big bed, book shelf, dresser and mirror. Thanks! and if u have any preferences for me to buy stuff, tell me! Oh, and the colors in my room are mostly pink and orange but any thing else that might go with that is good. my furniture is dark and wooden. p.s a have a tv

If the entrance to your room is closer to the east wall or in the center, then place the head of your bed on the west wall opposite the entrance.

If the entrance is closer to the west wall, and if your closet has sliding doors or the door swings inward, then place the head of the bed on the north wall opposite the entrance. If this would place your bed underneath one of the windows, then just make sure that you hang a curtain for privacy.

This is known as the "commanding position" in the room, so that you can lay in bed & see anyone coming into the room without much effort. It also makes the bed the focal point of the room.

Place your TV on the south wall so that it's not the first thing you see when you walk into the room.

Where can I buy round mirrors about the size of a dinner plate to use with a vase for wedding centrepieces?

I want to have tall round vases with a flower submerged in water with tea lights on top of a round mirror in the centre of my guests tables. I can get the vases at spotlight for $3.50 each and tealights are cheap as will be the flowers. Now I just need to find the mirrors but can't find them anywhere except hire places interstate. I live in country VIC but would travel to Melb for them. Does anyone know where I can buy 12 of them. Thanks!
