How do atheists with Christian parents look at themselves in the mirror?
I am a youth pastor and I had a parent come to me in tears because their kid professed to be an atheists.
The parent was so upset because he raised her up in a Christian home, loved her with all his heart and now that she is out on her own she has jumped the fence and broke her parents heart.
Everyone has to make up their own mind and God will respect their free will. He will NEVER force anyone to believe or to be saved, but it will be THEIR responsibility when they come before Him.
Those who believe and have loved ones who don't can still keep praying that God will touch the hearts of their loved one...as I am doing
for those in my own family....That's all I can do at this point....I want them to be saved with all my heart, but it can't be forced in any way...
