Using Mirrors to Improve your Home

You can almost guarantee that in any home around the world, you are sure to find a mirror in some shape or form. They don't always have to be the ones you'd usually find hanging on the wall or over your mantle piece! By definition, a mirror is an object that is highly polished to give a reflective surface.

Art Deco Mirrors
As with clothing fashion, mirrors also have a 'trend' meaning at some point a particular style is deemed to be 'fashionable'. Art Deco mirrors, whilst still more and more designs are being produced - the majority of styles are no longer 'the in-thing'. Of course, many people could still find that ideal design in an art deco mirror - sometimes, it comes down to definition.

The market is slightly changing and some art deco mirrors can probably be classed as modern art deco, with some mirrors providing 3D effects, see below.

There probably isn't a rule to say what sort of mirror should be categorised as being 'Decorative', but I am sure it's safe to say that 'any mirror with some sort of decorative feature could be classed as being decorative' - but many people again, may differ on that view.
