About beveled mirror!!! please help!?

I have a 5 x 3 wall mirror, I want to get it beveled and I also need a hole for mi lights, its for my half bath, so Im wondering if I can bring this mirror to a mirror place and have it done there, Im not sure if they will do it because I dont need to buy the mirror, I just need it "serviced", Can they do that> and is that really expensive?

Your local glass company should be able to help. Bring in the mirror and let them look at it and give you a quote, to estimate the cost. Be sure to measure accurately for the holes. You might tape some old newspaper together and make a template for the location and size of the holes. Does nickel (silver) and oil rubbed bronze go together in a bathroom with a white vanity?

I am redoing my bathroom. Right now it's all white walls and vanity and the floor is tiled speckled with browns and greens. I bought a taupe paint (valspar) for the walls and a light fixture that is oil rubbed bronze, but my faucet and towel ring, toliet paper holder etc are nickel. Does this all go? What should I change? Also, I need a new mirror, do I get white to match the vanity or dark brown to match the light?

I think it would be VERY pretty. White vanity.

Wedding Centerpieces, Ideas?

I have decided on using a combination of LED candles, a square glass vase, an assortment of summer flowers (yellow, pink, purple, orange), a round mirror and somehow silver ribbon. Any ideas how I can creatively put all this together and end up with something nice?

Does this sound like an acceptable thing for a therapist to say?

It was being said to a young woman who is depressed about hating her appearance, just to put it into context. It was a male therapist, and it upset my friend when he said something along these lines;

"The goal of therapy isn't to look in the mirror and think, "Yay, i've beaten Megan Fox (or someone like that).... It's not because you'll never look that attractive, it's because you will never think that."

Well, my therapist said something along the same lines to me, and i had a similar problem to your friend; i had an eating disorder (it didn't qualify as anorexia, but i was underweight and dieting too much) because i hated my appearance, too.

Personally, when the psychologist said it to me, i felt like i was being compared to a dumb celebrity who was full of make up anyway, and i thought to myself, "I didn't come to therapy to be compared to a silly British celebrity!". To me, it felt as though the therapist was saying that the celebrity he mentioned was what very attractive looks like, and i felt that it was only feeding my already warped ideas of what being physically attractive is.

So, in my opinion, although he technically didn't say anything wrong, it wasn't the most tactful or sensitive think to say to someone in that situation.

Where can I find a set of round, Venetian, mirrored coasters - the ones with etchings of flowers?

I bought a set at Target (they don't have them anymore), and my boyfriend accidentally threw two of them out, and now I need them desperately for an art project for one of my clients. I want to redecorate my bedroom. can anyone help me ?

Hello

Had my room the same for quite a while and feel like a change.

I have beech effect furniture ( bookshelf, drawers, bedside tables, wardrobe, bed) and one small window with silver vinetian blinds.

Unfortunately the wallpaper has to stay. Its plain with raised ovals on it. Not too bad but can be painted over.

I have a mirror which i am thinking of painting silver.

I have covered one of my walls with old Vinyls as this gives a great effect.

Just need idea's on colours and things i can do to make it look good.

At the minute im thinking pale green walls with a white bedspread with green and brown stripes at the bottom. Sounds pretty good to me .

Any idea's are much appreciated.
