how do u remove wood paneling and wall mirror??And whats behind them?

Moving in a our 1st house in 2 days.We want to paint right away. We have wood paneling, a wall mirror one small wall and wall paper. !st what would be behind their??I dotn want any surprises when we remove them.IS it dry wall?will their be lots of glue or nails??how should we remove them?? and what is the best stuff from a store to remove wall paper,going to homedepot for the item. And in my apartment,we have screw holes because of shelves. What do i get to cover the wholes?

most likely there are studs behind the paneling and sheetrock behind the mirror. you can tell by knocking on the walls in areas or pressing hard.if it sounds like a hollw sound or presses in real easy then there are just studs. just make sure the tapping or pressing isnt right on a stud. lol
the wall papering is another story. the stuff you use to remove the wall paper will saturate the paper barrier shield on the dry wall. i usually use very little water and a big scraper. cautious to not damge the dry wall. and filling the holes is the easy part. just use dry wall mud and sand down. btw youll need to sand the wall paper glue off that dosent always come off with the scraping. wait till it dries b4 you sand though or you will end up with gummy sand paper that dosent work
